MiArt 2010 is pleased to present the brand new fair catalogue.
This year's catalogue will feature an exclusive history section by Giorgio Verzotti, dedicated to the cultural promotion of galleries.

A journey through Italy's main cities, such as Milan, Rome, Turin and Bologna, from the 1970s to the mid-1990s, tells the story of the galleries through the most significant artists and the most important exhibitions promoted during the period, which contributed to creating Italy's cultural and artistic identity.

"We are convinced, and we know through experience, that an art gallery is not just somewhere for selling works and making money. A gallery is also a place of cultural development, and perhaps a place where strategies are created in order to support cultural projects. We aim to show this by re-reading the history of Italy's main art galleries (and a few foreign galleries), and we are going to try to do this in an art fair catalogue." (Giorgio Verzotti)
