The 23rd miart - the International Modern and Contemporary Art Fair - is to take place from April 13th to 15th, 2018, with a special VIP preview to be held on April 12th, 2018 at Fieramilanocity, Hall 3.

miart only accepts applications from national and international galleries specialising in modern and contemporary art and in limited-edition design.
Applications to take part in miart 2018 must be for specific sections of the show. Therefore, the application form must be filled in with the relevant information.

Galleries may apply for more than one section of miart. A separate application form must be filled in for every exhibition project.

The exhibition project is subject to payment of a €400.00 (+ VAT if required*) “exhibition project fee”. The organizers will only accept applications for which the fee has been paid. The exhibition project fee remains the same in the event of applying for more than one section of miart.

The number of galleries that can take part in the show is limited. Successful exhibitors/galleries will be selected by Fiera Milano, at its sole discretion, also based on assessments by the Selection Committee set up under the artistic direction of miart.
Should the proposal not be accepted, the organizers will withhold the “exhibition project fee” to cover operating expenses and the candidate gallery will not be entitled to any form of reimbursement.

Application deadline: November 10, 2017.

The outcome of the selection process will be announced by December 2017.

on demand

Regardless of the section, the galleries are invited to exhibit context-based, site-specific or interactive works within their stand.
This means installations, wall paintings and wall drawings, projects to be executed, specific commissions, performances and contract work. The focus of these works is to develop a direct relation with the public and/or the collector.
on demand is a crosscutting section within the show. Eligible projects for the on demand section should be specified on the application form after selecting the section in which you want to take part, whether established masters, established contemporary, first step, emergent or object, and providing a description of same.
The names of the selected artists will form the subject of a specific announcement regarding miart 2018.
